Katie Jessop is a Registered Dietitian and holds a Masters in Health Science from the University of Toronto and a BSc in Nutritional Science. She specializes as a Sports Dietitian, providing nutrition care for improved health, focus, performance, and immunity for all ages. She is the Varsity Sport Dietitian for over 1000 University of Toronto athletes in more than 24 sports and has consulted with the Canadian Sports Institute Ontario with national and provincial level athletes and teams. With two school aged children, Katie lives the advice she provides at home too. Dr. Sofia Solar Cafaggi is a family physician with specialty training in Sport and Exercise Medicine, and an avid sports enthusiast. She completed medical school and family medicine residency at the University of Toronto, and then pursued a fellowship in Sport and Exercise Medicine at the University of Alberta. She has been involved with multiple sporting organizations at the local, varsity, and professional levels in both Toronto and Edmonton. Most recently, she worked with Canada Soccer as team physician for the U15 Women’s National Soccer Team during an international tournament.
Prior to her medical career, Dr. Solar Cafaggi worked as a management consultant in the healthcare space. She holds an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from McGill University and a master’s degree in Translational Medicine/Bioengineering from the University of California, Berkeley.

Graduated with Honours in Kinesiology in 2003 from York University, followed by a Bachelor in Health Science in Athletic Therapy from Sheridan College. As a student therapist she worked with the University of Toronto Football and Basketball teams. She has also worked with the Vancouver Provincial Soccer Team. It was here she discovered her passion for the care and wellness of her athletes. Becoming a Certified Athletic Therapist in 2010.
She furthered her studies in the field of Pedorthics as an apprentice in 2007. Learning more about biomechanics and how the foot can vastly affect different areas of the body. She became a certified member in 2009, with the College of Pedorthics. With over 10 years of Pedorthic experience she has treated not just the general population but also various types of amateur to professional athletes.

Dr. Laura Cruz a background in Family Medicine and has practiced sport and exercise medicine since 1996. She is known for her expertise in aesthetic sports such as rhythmic gymnastics, synchronized swimming and figure skating working with athletes from the club to Olympic level. Since 2008 until 2020, she has been the team physician for the Toronto Furies and Lague physician for the CWHL.
She has been the Canadian Team physician for many world championships and a Vancouver 2010 and Beijing 2022 Olympic physician for Figure Skating. Daniel Mills is a Registered Physiotherapist who holds a Masters of Physical Therapy from Queen’s University, following an undergraduate degree in Human Kinetics from the University of Guelph. Daniel’s interest in physiotherapy developed through his own experiences with sports injuries, having played competitive hockey and baseball throughout his youth. These experiences gave him a deep appreciation for the importance of proper care and guidance in recovering from injury and safely returning to the activities we love.
Since completing his Masters, Daniel has focused on treating running-related injuries, driven by his personal experience as a long-distance runner. Peter graduated from Brock University with a degree in Kinesiology in 2009. He furthered his education to become a Certified Athletic Therapist in 2012 and joined the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario in 2013. With over twelve years of experience, Peter has treated clients of all ages with a variety of injuries and conditions. He focuses on identifying the root cause of his clients’ pain and discomfort, creating individualized treatment programs that incorporate techniques such as trigger-point therapy, myofascial release, joint mobilization, stretching, and targeted strengthening exercises.
To address chronic tension and postural issues, Peter has taken additional courses in the NISA technique, a gentle approach designed to release fascial adhesions, improve structural alignment, and provide long-lasting changes to poor posture. His extensive knowledge of biomechanics and sport-related injuries has also enabled him to work with many junior athletes in sports such as hockey, lacrosse, football, and tennis.
